Telecom Technician

Job Title : Voice Technician / telecoms Technician.

Location : Colorado Denver surrounding areas.

Salary / Rate : $26-40 per hour.

Job Type : Contract 3 years.

Job Responsibilities / Objectives :

As a Telecoms Technician you will be working in the clients exchange buildings across the USA, providing connectivity schemes between the MDF and Switch infrastructure :

• Following an agreed schedule provide 2 wire jumpers to complete circuit between the MDF and 20c switching infrastructure.
• Terminate 2 wire jumpers using twist and tip soldering techniques or IDC tools as appropriate.
• Provide and test 2Mb co-axial circuits between DDF’s.
• Test Provision of 2wire prior to changeover.
• Recover old wiring as specified in job pack.
• Support decommissioning of Switch infrastructure.
