Our West geography is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to play a vital role on a variety of exciting site development and civil infrastructure projects. This position can be based in San Francisco, Los Angeles or Seattle.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of site development, utilities, roadway, drainage and other key elements of civil engineering projects
• Oversee the production of design documents and leading a team of civil engineers working on a variety of projects
• Work with the local agencies to understand their land use and permit processes
• Coordinate with associated disciplines including SMEP, architecture and landscape architecture, geotechnical engineering, transportation planning, urban planning, environmental engineering, and cost engineering
• Perform construction phase engineering support and site supervision
• Participate in proposal writing and marketing activities
• Develop relationships with existing clients and project collaborators
• Present technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences
• Mentor staff and providing training to junior technical staff

Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in San Francisco is $135,000 to $160,000 per year. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of San Francisco will differ.
