Our ICU Stepdown (14 bed unit) serves as an essential higher acuity link between critical care and acute care areas. We care for a wide variety of patient conditions (Cardiac, Neuro, Respiratory, General Surgery, Transplant, Multi-system) requiring a higher level of care, including specialized kidney transplant recipients.  RN’s manage drips, oxygen and treatment modalities, while coordinating care across departments. RN’s will be trained in partnership with our critical care units learning multiple specialties, experiencing a wide variety of patient populations / diagnoses.
