About The Position

Location : Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Specialty : Pharmacy Technician Type : Travel Schedule : 5x8s Days / Nights Time : 13 Weeks

Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a rewarding travel opportunity for a Pharmacist in Colorado Springs, CO. This contract features a competitive $840 weekly blended rate, with a 5x8 shift pattern. 40 hours a week, as well as OT opportunities.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist Technician :

  • Accept and dispense prescription medications. Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.
  • Ensuring that the supply of medicines is within the law.
  • Ensuring that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable.
  • Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients ensure proper management of patient records and pharmacy files.
  • Advising patients about medicines, including how to take them, what reactions may occur and answering patients' questions.
  • Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, other pharmacists, pharmacy interns, etc.
  • Requirements of the Pharmacist Technician :

  • At least 1 year of Phamarcy Tecnician experience.
  • License by state board
  • License and Registration for Registered Pharmacy Technician in Wisconsin
