Job Description Summary :

Provides leadership, direction, and oversight of overall operations for a large portfolio of properties, ensuring a safe and attractive living environment for residents and a great place to work for associates, exceptional quality and service, sustained resident satisfaction and associate engagement, operational efficiency, and strong financial results.

Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership & Oversight :

• Lead and develop a team of regional maintenance managers, technicians, and vendors.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for maintenance operations, ensuring responsiveness and quality standards.
• Collaborate with property management leadership to align maintenance strategies with operational goals.

The home office for Enterprise Community Development and Enterprise Residential is in Baltimore. Enterprise also has offices in Columbia, Bethesda, Washington, DC, and New York City, and satellite offices elsewhere. The Director of Engineering will be assigned a primary office location by their respective manager for regular in-person attendance and meetings. Video conferencing is used almost daily and on multiple occasions within a workday. Every effort will be made to have a work week consist of 40 hours but given the nature of the property management business and its administrative requirements, additional work time will likely be required.
