Hoj Dock & Door is seeking a dependable, motivated Parts Associate to join our team . The Parts Associate is typically the first point of contact for a customer or technician in need of a part. Their overall objective is to supply the customer with all the correct part(s) necessary for a said job in an efficient manner with superior customer service.

Essential Duties :

The Parts Associate is responsible for locating and supplying parts for our technicians and customers. He / she must have above average people skills and be able to determine applicable parts required to do certain jobs. He / she uses various forms of schematics for identifying specific parts daily. They also determine best vendors for those parts, designate shipping methods and receiving of those parts. The parts associate is also primarily responsible for maintaining a neat, orderly, and accurate parts inventory system.

Duties include but not limited to loading & unloading product orders, stocking & storing warehouse inventory, & fulfilling purchase orders as necessary while ensuring accuracy & timeliness of all job functions. Occasionally, the parts associate will drive a company vehicle to deliver parts to technicians at a jobsite.

Skills / Responsibilities :

• Basic computer skills : typing, Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Personable and have the ability to work well with customers and co-workers
• Average knowledge of dock and door parts and their functions
• General knowledge of inventory control methods
• Maintain PO system and monitor outstanding purchase orders
• Ability to source parts for various dock and door needs
• Above average organization skills and inventory management skills
• Maintain a valid driver's license & clean driving record standards
• Maintain and strengthen customer relationships by acting professionally and as a representation of the Hoj values.
• Other duties as assigned

Salary : Depends on Experience

Experience : Relevant 2 years (Preferred)
