Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs CT scans, delivering exceptional customer service and image quality.

What You Will Do in This Role

  • Perform CT exams timely and following protocols to maintain a high quality of care.
  • Prepare procedure trays with necessary supplies.
  • Gather patient history and retrieve necessary prior images or orders.
  • Provide relevant patient details to the radiologist.
  • Complete necessary documentation accurately.
  • Coordinate patient flow and ensure all exams are finalized.
  • Support ALARA principles for radiation safety.
  • Inform and reassure patients regarding procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with physicians, patients, and families.
  • Administer IVs for contrast as needed.
  • Utilize power injectors appropriately.
  • Participate in on-call shift rotations for after-hour coverage.
  • Maintain required licenses and certifications as per job qualifications.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in work areas.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to quarterly target metrics.
  • Exhibit knowledge of human development and care appropriate for different patient ages.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications You Will Need

  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current ARRT certification with advanced registry, or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire.
  • Preferred 1 year post-graduate experience; independent work expected.
  • BLS certification required.
