Individual will provide On-Site Program Management coverage by identifying, implementing and maintaining waste reduction, segregation, and reuse programs for customer. Individual will lead a team of program managers. Individual will work closely with customer's Environmental Department.
Essential Functions
- Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Conduct daily site inspections and weekly RCRA inspections.
- Lead and support onsite Program Managers in all areas of their day-to-day business.
- Serve as a mentor and knowledge resource to co-workers.
- Manage staffing levels and performance of onsite team based on customer and contract demands.
- Work with customers and vendors to implement improved waste management procedures.
- Manage recycling programs and the 90-day accumulation building.
- Schedule all waste shipments including all recycling materials.
- Manage all document tracking including reports to Environmental Department.
- Meet with supplier partners to discuss disposal opportunities, negotiate pricing, and review current approvals.
- Prepare monthly waste activity reports and regular operational performance reviews for clients and internal leadership.
- Consult with clients and vendors to develop solutions to improve by-product management processes.
- Balance customer contract requirements and company profit initiatives.
- Prepare and monitor annual budget for client's waste management activities; negotiate changes when needed.
- Assist with escalated customer aging requests from Account Administrators.
- Enter and maintain information within Salesforce for opportunity tracking.
- Review and advise on customer proposals and cost / profit analysis.
- Review and approve the need for new suppliers within customer programs.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company's core values, competencies, and skills.
