Pay Information

$450 to $475 per hour

About The Position

Hematology and Oncology Locums Physician, Indiana

Outpatient-focused Hematology and Oncology assignment in Indiana with flexible weekday scheduling near Indianapolis.

Highlights

  • Set your own hours between 8 : 00 a.m. and 5 : 30 p.m.
  • Primary outpatient focus with limited weekend rounding
  • Rotating call every 4th-5th week with low callback volume
  • No long-term commitment; dates through summer still open
  • Open to IMLC physicians

Practice Setting

  • Mix of outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth
  • 70% oncology, 30% benign hematology
  • Facility includes a Level 3 trauma center
  • Schedule

  • Monday-Friday with 36 hours of patient care per week
  • Q4-Q5 hospital call, one week at a time
  • Weekend rounding only during call weeks
  • Cases and Procedures

  • New consults assigned during hospital call weeks
  • APPs support rounding; consult management is primary focus
  • No admissions required
  • Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology / Oncology
  • Fellowship required
  • Indiana license or active IMLC LOQ
  • BLS certification required
  • Travel Accommodations

  • Located near Indianapolis International Airport (IND)
