Network Engineer

Genesis10 is seeking a Network Engineer for a direct hire, onsite position with a client located in McConnellsburg, PA. Summary : The Network Engineer will be responsible for service delivery support and project execution within the global infrastructure network environment of a Fortune 500 enterprise. This role will identify gaps, lead improvements, and provide subject matter expertise (SME) in one or more networking domains. The position offers a salary of $80K with a 5% bonus. Responsibilities : Provide service delivery support and execute project deliverables across the enterprise network environment. Support Palo Alto technologies including Firewalls, Panorama, GlobalProtect VPN, URL Filtering, IoT Security, and PRISMA. Support Cisco technologies such as switching, routing (including SD-WAN), Cisco Client for 802.1X and TACACS, DNA Center, Wireless, and ACI. Deliver ongoing medium to high complexity maintenance, Run-the-Business (RTB) support, and incident service requests. Serve as a technical resource for both RTB and project-based network initiatives. Assist with requirements gathering, solution recommendations, and implementation. Develop and maintain network documentation and diagrams. Mentor peers, share knowledge, and contribute to IT knowledge base articles. Collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders to resolve network issues and support enterprise goals. Qualifications : 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or related field. Hands-on experience supporting networking technologies such as DNS, DHCP, Cisco routing / switching, and wireless solutions. Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Client or DNA solutions. Willingness to work onsite and travel up to 15% to nearby PA campuses. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Preferred : Cisco, Palo Alto, or cloud networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE). ITIL Foundation or Network+ certification. Prior experience in a manufacturing or enterprise network environment. Experience creating network diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
