LocumJobsNetwork is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Anesthesiology CRNA in Johnson City, Tennessee, 37604!

About The Position

Wellhart is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in Anesthesiology for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Tennessee. The assignment begins on 01 / 05 / 2026, with 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, offering flexibility for 4 or 5-day work weeks. This role provides an opportunity to work in a trauma center, handling a diverse range of complex cases. The CRNA will be responsible for administering anesthesia for various surgical procedures, including high-risk OB / GYN, gastro, endoscopies, orthopedics, general surgery, bariatric, vascular, and urological surgeries. Additional duties include performing spine blocks and epidurals, as well as managing sedation and pain throughout the perioperative period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures
  • Perform spine blocks and epidurals
  • Manage sedation and pain before, during, and after procedures
  • Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals
  • Adapt to various surgical specialties and case types
  • Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period
  • Participate in pre-anesthesia patient assessments
  • Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management

Additional Information :

  • Must be licensed to practice in the state of Tennessee
  • Experience in trauma center settings preferred
  • Comfortable with a diverse range of complex cases
  • Flexibility to stay until cases end, if necessary
  • Willingness to rotate between different surgical specialties
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills required
