Job Title : Housekeeper
Reports to : Maintenance Supervisor
Location : Phoenix, AZ
Pay Rate : $18.00 - $22.00
This is a safety sensitive position.
Normal Hours :
- 40 Hours per week
- Weekly schedule to be set by Property Manager / District Manager as required by Property Operations / Owner
Essential Job Functions :
- Responsible for the initial cleaning of the apartment homes prior to move-in including
- Bathroom sinks, tubs, showers, faucets, commodes, countertops
- Outside and inside windows, mini blinds, sills, shutters
- Kitchen sinks, cabinets, drawers, dishwashers, refrigerators, stoves, ovens, countertops
- Flooring, baseboards, walls, doors
- Laundry rooms, bedrooms, dens
- Accountable for an on-going inventory of housewares and linens for the guest suites
- Responsible for maintaining the laundry and housewares of the guest suite check-ins and check-outs
- Responsible for cleaning the rental office and clubhouse daily
- Assists the Porter in the detailing of the grounds, including but not limited to trash pickup and cleaning pool furniture
- Assists the rental office with public relations / customer service, including set up and assistance during resident activities
- Works in collaboration with the Rental office in the scheduling of vacant units for cleaning prior to occupancy
- Continually inspect the property and report deficiencies to supervisor
- Ensures that residents are provided with a clean, safe, and well-maintained community
- Reports accidents and emergency situations to the corporate office immediately and prepare the proper reports
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality at work
- Is aware of and always operates within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies
- Responsible for thorough knowledge and adherence of the Company’s policies and procedures
- Responsible for maintaining the required property dress code and always ensuring a professional appearance and attitude
- Responsible for maintaining Grace Hill / Vision training as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Staff Relations :
- Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Works in harmony and collaboratively with members of staff, community, and vendors
Language Skills :
- Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, for business necessities including :
- Communications with customers, coworkers, supervisors, and vendors
- Emergencies or other situations in which team members must speak a common language for safety
- Possess effective facilitation skills to manage conflict and resolve disputes
Minimum Qualifications :
- 18 years of age
- Willingness to work
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work with commercial / industrial cleaning products

High school degree or equivalent
