Auburn, WA: Middle and High School Speech-Language Pathologist
Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Soliant has partnered with a small education community 20 minutes from Auburn, WA to place a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming year.
Details of the assignment below :
- Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Work with 6th to 12th grade students, covering 3 buildings
- Students' therapy needs are varied, from consult only to students in self-contained classrooms and with low-incidence disabilities
Day-to-day duties include :
- Conducting evaluations and assessments of students' speech and language development;
- Developing Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals in consultation with district SLPs
- Providing speech-language therapy, documenting student progress, and completing paperwork pertinent to the provision of services, or to Medicaid billing
- Participating in IEP meetings, and communicating speech and language goals to student care-givers
Additional details relating to the caseload, and building assignments, will be discussed during an interview with the administrators.
We seek applicants who bring solid clinical knowledge, are well-organized, and are adept communicators.
Requirements :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Washington SLP at start of the assignment
- Eligibility for an Educational Staff Associate credential (similar to a teacher certificate in other states)
