Job description

Sales Representative

The Sales Representative is the first face of Color World Painting that a customer sees, which sets the standard for what they will expect moving forward. The Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing customer relations and maintaining high ethical standards in all aspects of communication and behavior throughout the sales generation process. The Sales Representative will work primarily in the South Denver area selling interior and exterior painting (both commercial and residential) and holiday light installations. The position will pay a competitive hourly wage plus commission to start, and the sky is the limit for a highly motivated, successful sales person.

Company Overview

We are a fast-growing painting company that has been in business for over 25 years and we are currently in a growth phase. This is not a job; it is a career, and we only want the best as we drive together for the long term. Color World offers residential and commercial painting and staining, both interior and exterior. We paint / stain cabinets, fences and decks, and can replace gutters as needed and we can handle light carpentry. Color World also offers holiday lighting services to both residential and commercial customers.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining relationships with our existing client base
  • Establishing new relationships with potential clients
  • Developing and implementing lead generation strategies
  • Networking with the community to build awareness of the brand
  • Meeting with homeowners and builders on-site (in the South Denver territory) to establish their needs and estimate jobs (home services sales experience preferred)
  • Setting weekly goals with supervisor to drive year-end sales targets
  • Possibility of some occasional travel for training, to be determined
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in a dynamic sales role. Home services selling experience a plus.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record and a car.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Available to regularly work weekends and evenings as well as some week days as needed.
  • Presents self and company professionally through in person appointments and customer communications
  • Basic Computer, Internet, Word, Excel and email experience. Training provided for our CRM.
  • Working knowledge of interior and exterior paints coatings, carpentry, drywall, EIFS, and other construction (preferred)
  • Pre-established relationships with builders, property managers, real estate professionals and homeowners are a plus
  • Compensation : $35,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
