We are looking for a skilled Logistics & Inventory Manager to oversee and streamline the movement of goods and inventory within our commodities operations. This role requires a proactive individual with expertise in inventory management, logistics coordination, and customer service. Based in Dallas, Texas, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of products to our buyers.

Responsibilities :

• Manage outbound accounts, ensuring all aspects of product movement are handled effectively.
• Plan and coordinate transportation and delivery schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Maintain and update inventory control systems to ensure accurate tracking and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with sales teams to facilitate timely processing of customer orders.
• Liaise with transportation providers to arrange efficient shipment and delivery of goods.
• Generate detailed reports and update spreadsheets to provide traders and clients with accurate inventory balances.
• Ensure compliance with import laws and regulations during the transportation of goods.
• Conduct regular audits and physical inventory checks to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
• Optimize logistics and distribution strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Provide exceptional support and communication to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, inventory management, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Proficiency in inventory tracking and reconciliation systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Familiarity with Navision or similar inventory management software.
• Strong knowledge of international freight, freight carriers, and freight forwarding processes.
• In-depth understanding of import laws and regulations.
• Proven ability to conduct inventory audits and physical inventory checks.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
