Imagine a career where every day you help individuals find their voice and foster meaningful connections. As a Speech Language Pathologist in one of the most dynamic regions of the South, your role extends beyond merely managing communication and swallowing challenges. You'll play a critical part in unlocking abilities, nurturing confidence, and forging connections, whether it's guiding children on their first words or supporting seniors on their journeys to independence.

This position offers a wonderful chance to make a difference in the lives of individuals of all ages, in an environment that combines outpatient therapy with the rare opportunity of inpatient support. Whether your expertise lies in pediatric speech development, adult neurogenic disorders, or geriatric rehabilitation, you'll find purpose and ease in this role.

  • Implement personalized therapy sessions to enhance communication skills in areas such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
  • Engage with cross-disciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to promote effective care strategies.
  • Educate patients and families to reinforce therapeutic progress beyond the walls of your practice.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, ensuring seamless care throughout the patient's rehabilitation process.
  • Keep comprehensive and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational requirements.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development, keeping abreast of the latest advancements in the field.

Education

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.
  • Certifications

  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • As a preference, holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Skills

  • Expertise in evidence-based practices across various age groups, with a solid understanding of both developmental and acquired speech and language disorders.
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Capability to customize therapy approaches to cater to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and compliance with documentation standards.
  • Benefits

  • Competitive pay reflecting experience.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to foster a healthy work-life balance amidst diverse caseloads.
  • Opportunities for specialization in pediatric, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatric care.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay.
  • Inclusive health benefits covering medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • Financial support for continuing education and professional growth.
  • A collaborative work environment focused on delivering exceptional care and fostering continuous learning.
  • A Journey That Inspires Growth

Here, you'll not just provide therapy but embrace a mission grounded in community engagement and the restoration of communication. You'll join a supportive cohort of clinicians committed to collegiality and shared success. Each patient will come with a narrative, and you'll have the privilege of helping craft how it unfolds.

    Who We Seek

We are in search of a Speech Language Pathologist who is passionate about not just the results they achieve but the heart they bring to their practice. We want someone who looks at a hesitant child and envisions a world of expression, who listens to the imperfect speech of a patient and hears the underlying strength.

Whether you are a pediatric expert looking to broaden your scope or a neuro-specialist motivated to integrate early intervention, your commitment and heart will be valued.

If you are eager to serve, inspire, and lead with compassion, we are excited to meet you.

Join Us in This Meaningful Mission

If you know that communication is more than just words, and therapy goes beyond procedures - if you understand that trust and humanity are central to successful outcomes - then this opportunity could be the perfect next step in your journey.

Be a part of a community that champions connection and the courage to step forward one conversation at a time. We invite you to apply today, and together let's help others find their voices and grow.
