Minimum 8 Years documented experience as an Electrician.

Journeyman Card Required.

Work Hours Between 6 : 30AM and 6 PM 8 hours per day, 40 hours per Week.

Paid Time Off.

Description of Duties :

Includes but is not limited to :

• Reviews plans to ensure they meet building codes and contract specifications.
• Monitors construction sites to ensure overall compliance.
• Uses survey instruments, metering devices, and test equipment to perform inspections.
• Keeps daily logs, including photographs taken during inspections.
• Provides written documentation of findings.
• Inspects electrical system operations.
• Issues violation notices and stop-work orders until building is compliant.
• Develops designs, statements of work, specifications, drawings, cost estimates of varied complexity. This may include, but not be limited to, gathering, and defining customer needs.
• Oversees and inspects corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical and elevator equipment throughout the WJHTC campus, as listed above.
• Accesses and provides reports from FAA’s Power Monitoring and Control System (PMCS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
• Reviews, provides feedback, and approves electrical switching plans.
• Basics to advanced level troubleshooting skills on electrical systems including, but not limited to motor controls, lighting control systems, wiring and controls, protective relays, elevator controls and operation, issues with PCMS and / or SCADA systems.
