As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Gate Control in Ottawa, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do :

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.

Verify identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directions while maintaining security-related protocols.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and / or security-related concerns.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site policy.

Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and / or coordinating with emergency personnel.

Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location.

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
