Travel Welder / Fitter Position

Located in Newport News, VA & Goose Creek, SC ($140 in Per Diem)

Job Description

• Perform single / Multi pass tack welding using the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) process.
• Operate burning-oxygen / propane burning torches and heating-oxygen / propane heating torches.
• Interpret complex structural assembly drawings, blueprints, and sketches, including weld symbols, material types, and datum and reference lines.
• Comprehend fractional dimensions using a ruler.
• Lay off piece parts for fabrication and assembly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00 / hr.
