Program Manager, Human Resources Communications

Children's Health | Dallas, TX Full-Time | Exempt

The Opportunity

We're looking for a strategic communicator to build something from the ground up. This is a newly created role where you'll help establish the foundation for HR communications at Children's Healthdefining how we connect with, inform, and engage our HR team for years to come.

What You'll Do

Own HR Communications Strategy

  • Design and launch a leadership newsletter to keep our HR team aligned on priorities, initiatives, and organizational strategy
  • Develop an overarching annual communications strategy for employee well-being and benefits programs
  • Create clear, engaging content including written communications, presentations, FAQs, intranet pages, and collateral

Drive Change & Engagement

  • Lead change management communications as we evolve and grow toward our new pediatric campus
  • Translate complex HR topicsfrom benefits and compensation to organizational prioritiesinto digestible, meaningful messages for diverse audiences
  • Partner with HR leaders to understand team needs and deliver communications that truly resonate
  • Build Relationships & Influence

  • Collaborate with senior leaders and executives across the organization to align messaging and drive impact
  • Establish strong partnerships with HR colleagues to stay ahead of initiatives and priorities
  • Use data and feedback to continuously improve communication effectiveness
  • Lay the Groundwork for the Future

  • Create templates and standards that will guide HR communications for the next 5-10 years
  • Launch engagement surveys and feedback mechanisms to understand what the team needs
  • Take ownership of projects from concept to completion with creativity and independence
  • Qualifications

    Required Experience

  • 5+ years of internal communications experience, ideally including HR communications or change management
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling narratives
  • Change management expertiseyou've successfully guided teams through transitions and transformation
  • Strategic mindset balanced with hands-on execution ability
  • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and run projects from start to finish
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Preferred Experience

  • Graduate degree or advanced certifications
  • Healthcare or large organization experience
  • Experience launching newsletters, leadership communications, or employee engagement campaigns
