The person in this role serves as a central communication source for all components of the patient transfer and consultation process.
Triages calls from referring providers and appropriately routes to subspecialist, attending physicians and / or the appropriate department(s). Demonstrates effective communication skills, critical thinking skills, ability to multi-task, and ability to follow clinical practice guidelines.
