About the Role

The Company is seeking a dynamic Director of Commercial Lending to spearhead its lending team in the Business & Industry, Community Facilities, Rural Energy for America, and Water & Waste Disposal sectors. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building and growing a robust book of business focused on commercial lending. A solid network within the banking sector, especially among investment groups and targeted loan sectors, is essential for success in this role.

The Director will take a proactive stance in leveraging their existing connections while also establishing new relationships nationwide. This position is designed for an industry leader, someone who can effectively manage a team, create and implement strategic initiatives, and enhance the bank's competitiveness in the marketplace.

The successful applicant will have a proven history in commercial lending, particularly with large transactions, and will possess strong leadership skills to develop and grow the division. An understanding of cash flow-driven deals is required, along with a willingness to elevate the bank's standing and performance in the market.

A strong educational background in finance, business, or a related field is preferred, along with an extensive network of industry contacts that can be utilized for business development.
