About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour or Day 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last three years in a med / surg or telemetry specialty.

License : Must hold a valid nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.

Certifications : BLS must be certified through the American Heart Association.

Must-Have : Experience with tracheostomy and surgical care; preferred experience in gynecology, urology, plastics, and colorectal care.

Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a dynamic unit providing care across various specialties.

You will engage with patients undergoing specialized procedures and treatments.

Responsibilities include providing education to patients and families to ensure confidence in post-operative care.

Experience with airway management, including new tracheostomies, is beneficial.

The unit provides opportunities to enhance skills in challenging and rewarding environments.

You will work within an innovative interdisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and support.

This nursing position requires flexibility with scheduling, including night and day shifts, as well as weekend rotations.

Some holiday availability is required based on operational needs.

Telemetry experience is mandatory, along with a passing score on a telemetry test prior to starting.

Candidates must possess strong clinical skills, including colostomy care and surgical drain management.
