Schedule : 7pm-3 : 30am, Tues-Saturday

The role of the Transportation Dispatcher is to support local Transportation leadership in the daily operations of the department as well as serve as a liaison between QCD’s Corporate Operations Control Center and / or Customer(s). This position will report directly to the Transportation Manager.
Job Description :
Debrief drivers daily, with a goal of identifying key issues throughout their route; document and report all opportunities to leadershipEnsure drivers meet daily requirements (i.e., login / out of Samsara, Update Core Temp, ELD, complete trip sheets and clock in / out timely, etc.)Create and maintain data trackers using various reports on metric driven systemsDaily communication with drivers, supervisors and managers regarding Driver, Route & Equipment analysis.Research and / or resolve all customer service-related inquiries and / or issues, using web-based customer portal and email.Analyze routes and behaviors using Safety Systems and BI Tools, (i.e. Samsara, Coretex, CoreTemp, Omnitracs, Tableau, etc.)Perform all other duties as assigned by Transportation LeadershipYard and Route ObservationsJob Requirements :
HS Diploma (Undergraduate degree preferred)Bilingual a plus (Spanish)Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook)Able to communicate professionally and effectivelyAble to Multi-taskAble to perform data entryFederal DOT Hours of service rules and regulations knowledge (Minimum Entry Level preferred but not required)Able to work varying schedules, overtime as needed and all holidaysMinimum 1 Year dispatching experienceWork schedule subject to change based upon operational needs
