Pay Range : $60.00 / hr. – $65.00 / hr.

Akkodis is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Design Engineer specializing in Body Interior – Seats, with a focus on New 2nd Row Seat Systems including Structures, Mechanisms, Foam, Trim, and related components. This role is based onsite in Long Beach, CA and supports a dynamic, fast-paced automotive development environment.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in automotive seat design and engineering, demonstrate strong initiative, and operate with autonomy. This role requires a first-principles approach to problem-solving, robust engineering fundamentals, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
