Job Title : Bilingual Quality Assurance Tester
Description :
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bilingual Quality Assurance Tester to join a dynamic technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business, functional, and design specifications to create and execute manual test cases, identify defects, and communicate testing results to stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of IT processes, QA methodologies, and testing across multiple platforms and technologies, including mobile applications, IVR systems, chatbots, and ETL processes.
Required Knowledge & Experience :
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in quality assurance and testing of customer-facing applications.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience using qTest and JIRA preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) required.
Skills & Competencies :
Level 1 :
Analyze business, functional, and design specifications to gain a full understanding of applications under test.Develop, document, and maintain detailed test cases, scripts, test data, and results.Identify testing requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.Execute manual test cases and record test results accurately.Log and track defects using JIRA;verify fixes once implemented.Level 2 :
Lead and participate in test plan and test case reviews with cross-functional teams.Identify and escalate potential quality issues following established processes.Determine key functional flows for regression and performance testing.Ensure all deliverables meet functional and design specifications.Demonstrate solid knowledge of IT processes and standards.Perform testing for diverse systems such as mobile apps, IVR, chatbots, and ETL pipelines;write and execute SQL queries as needed.Manage task priorities, assess risks, and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve blockers.Maintain organized documentation of all testing artifacts in a central repository for reusability.Level 3 :
Drive continuous improvement of software quality for customer-facing systems.Validate that interconnected applications within the program are synchronized and consistent.Prepare project or program-level test plans covering both functional and non-functional testing.Review test cases and execution results from team members to ensure quality and completeness.Maintain dashboards and reports to communicate program status and test progress to leadership.Contribute to design and architecture discussions during all phases of the project lifecycle.Stay current with emerging software testing trends and technologies;conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) as needed.Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, TOSCA, or Cypress is a plus, especially with the ability to build frameworks from scratch.Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement throughout all project phases.
