Assignment Length : 13 Weeks
Shift : 6 : 30AM-7 : 00PM
Experience Needed : Davinci Xi Robotic Spinal Fusion (orthopedic or Neuroservice)_ Orthopedics to include Total Joint Arthroplasty.
Unit Information : (Operating Room) Location : Alaska Regional Hospital
Number of Beds : 11 ORs
Shift for this position Three twelve-hour shifts Call Expectation Based on the number of employees taking call, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift (Average for 8 week sign up period) Number of Staff Varies depending on day.
Type of staff : Day Shift Average of 8 RNs, 8 Scrub techs and 5 Surgical support techs o Night Shift One charge RN and one scrub tech in house with call team backup.
Patient Ratios 1 : 1.
Type of equipment : Variety of OR beds and equipment EMR - Epic
Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for : Scrub tech needs are total joints, neuro and Xi Robots Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Patient advocate Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, Variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General) Very little ENT, Dental, Eyes or plastics.
