The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting CUI’s mission by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This position ensures materials, tools, and equipment are properly received, organized, inventoried, and distributed to field technicians and construction crews across Fulfillment, Underground, MDU, and Commercial Services divisions.
The Warehouse Supervisor drives operational excellence through strong leadership, efficient inventory management, and adherence to company safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and dispatching materials and tools.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through routine cycle counts and data entry in inventory management systems.
- Ensure timely and accurate distribution of materials to technicians and field teams.
- Coordinate with Construction, Fulfillment, and Logistics Managers to forecast and meet material demands.
- Oversee tool and vehicle asset management, ensuring proper tracking, maintenance, and return processes.
- Lead and mentor warehouse staff—providing training, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Enforce all safety, security, and company compliance protocols within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with procurement to manage purchase orders, vendor deliveries, and stock replenishment.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational flow within the warehouse and yard.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory movement, usage, and discrepancies.
- Support field operations with emergency or after-hours material requests when necessary.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.3+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams).Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in a fast-paced, physically active environment.Key Competencies
