Job descriptionOversee financial performance including budgets, forecasting, rent rolls, and variance analysis Approve and monitor operating and capital expenditure plans Evaluate lease structures, tenant credit risk, and portfolio cash flow to mitigate risk and maximize return Partner with property management teams to ensure operational excellence and high-quality tenant experience Cultivate strong tenant relationships to drive retention, satisfaction, and occupancy Liaise with leasing teams to support lease negotiations, renewals, and market positioning Collaborate with acquisitions, development, construction, and legal teams to support asset business plans Provide oversight and strategic input on redevelopment or repositioning projects Prepare detailed reporting packages and presentations for senior leadership and investors Bachelor's degree in real estate, Finance, Business, or a related field (MBA or MSRE preferred) Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in commercial real estate asset management Demonstrated track record of enhancing asset value and executing complex strategies Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills In-depth knowledge of commercial leasing, property operations, and capital planning Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills Dynamic and collaborative work environment with senior leadership exposure Exposure to all kinds of commercial real estate investments and investing Competitive compensation of $130,000-$150,000 plus performance-based incentives, and comprehensive benefits package Please only apply for this position if you have in depth commercial real estate asset management experience. Job Summary
We are a seeking a highly experienced Asset Manager to oversee and drive the performance of our commercial real estate portfolio of a private family office, which includes ~$2B of real estate investments. The ideal candidate must bring 7+ years of proven expertise in commercial real estate asset management with a strong track record of enhancing property values, optimizing financial returns, and elevating tenant experience. This individual will oversee multiple commercial properties, ensuring that each asset aligns with the company's long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Portfolio Management
- Develop and execute strategic business plans for each asset to maximize long-term value and NOI
- Evaluate property performance, market trends, and competitive positioning to inform decision-making
- Identify and implement value-add opportunities, repositioning strategies, and capital improvements
- Assist with new acquisitions of which such acquisition will then require asset management
