Maintenance Repairer
A Maintenance Repairer 1 or 2 position is available at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum in Shreveport, LA. The role involves maintaining the museum's buildings and grounds, as well as traveling to other nearby museum locations.
Minimum Qualifications : One year of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or as a parks building and grounds attendant; OR Six semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses.
Job Duties : Janitorial and light maintenance duties. (Clean floors / bathrooms / exhibits and electrical / plumbing / carpentry repairs) Painting Setting up for museum events Travel to other museums within 1 1-hour distance up to 4 days per week.
