Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, the PACS Administrator coordinates technical related activities within the Radiology, Cardiology, Dental, Ophthalmology and Women's Care Imaging Information Systems. This includes, but is not limited to : Philips Vue PACS, Merge Cardio, Digisonics PACS, Infinitt PACS, DICOM Routing, Dictation & Voice Recognition, and HL7 Interfaces.
Monitors the health and performance of all Imaging environments, their supporting applications, servers, associated interfaces and workstations, and addresses issues as they are discovered.
Leads and collaborates with troubleshooting efforts and problem resolution implementation.
Leads and collaborates with planning of system enhancements, upgrades and testing.
Adheres to organizational Change Management procedures.
Controls deployment and configuration management using Git and related development tools such as BASH, Lua, and Powershell.
Develops documentation and provides and training to junior team members and end-users.
