LHH Recruitment is partnering with a financial services company in Albuquerque, NM. This company is in search of a full time consumer collections representative to join their team. This role is fully onsite, Monday-Friday either 9am-6pm or 10am-7pm. To start, this role is contract for now, but absolutely has potential to become permanent for the right individual. The hourly pay is between $19 / hr-$21 / hr.

This fully onsite role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and ready to make an impact in a dynamic, compliance-driven environment.

What You'll Do :

  • Engage with clients to resolve delinquent accounts in a professional and courteous manner
  • Negotiate repayment solutions while adhering to regulatory and company guidelines
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions and account activity
  • Ensure compliance with FDCPA and other applicable financial regulations
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support account resolution strategies
  • Meet and exceed performance metrics related to call quality, recovery rates, and client satisfaction

What We're Looking For :

  • 1+ year of experience in collections, financial services, or a related customer service role
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to interpret and follow financial policies and compliance requirements
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency with CRM or collections software is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
