Summary

Under general direction of Location Supervisor, performs a variety of job responsibilities related to the fulfillment of customer orders which includes unloading and proper storage of turf care products from commercial trucks, and then the delivery of same products to customers utilizing company provided (Class A) delivery vehicles. Maintenance of material handling equipment and warehouse facility is required to help ensure facility is operating in a safe, efficient, and clean manner. This is a Seasonal position.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload chemicals, seed, and fertilizer products from commercial delivery trucks by use of forklift and properly store throughout the warehouse.
• Load company delivery vehicles with same product by use of forklift (or by hand) and deliver to customers in a timely and courteous manner.
• Monitoring and maintenance (by outside parties) of both company vehicles and material handling equipment as well as adherence to all safety protocols while operating either.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of facility inside and out daily.
• May assist with recordkeeping related to warehouse / inventory responsibilities.
• Additional Key Activities : Seasonally, long hours may be required.
• Miscellaneous duties such as assisting with special projects, attending training sessions, providing back-up when needed, etc.

Typical Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Combination of education, training and / or experience will be considered for this position.
