Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Permanent Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

This is a permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts by collecting and analyzing financial data from various sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and adherence to internal controls.
• Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Support the finance team in ad hoc projects and analysis as needed.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement analysis is required.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.
