Henry Ford Health is a quaternary care academic institution affiliated with Michigan State University and Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan is seeking an outstanding clinician, leader, teacher and researcher for an Academic Infectious Disease and/or an Academic HIV Infectious Disease position. The Institution is a 6-hospital system with 28, employees, 3 million patient visits annually and is one of the largest integrated health systems and transplantation programs in the country. The Infectious Disease fellowship is one of the oldest in the United States, with advanced fellowships in Hospital Infection Prevention and Epidemiology, Infectious Disease Transplantation and Global Health.
The successful candidate should have demonstrated potential as a leader and have a strong academic interest. Track record of publications and experience in a leadership role on grant-funded translational, clinical, or laboratory-based research is preferred. Faculty appointments are available commensurate with experience.
