Seasonal Maintenance Lead :

The Maintenance Lead plays a key role in keeping Bright’s rental equipment and facilities in top condition. As a Maintenance Lead, you will manage and support the maintenance team, repair event rental equipment, and handle building upkeep such as general handyman work. You’ll oversee repair schedules, make sure equipment is ready on time for upcoming events, and prioritize urgent requests when deadlines are tight. This role combines hands-on maintenance with supervising and guiding others to work safely, quickly, and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities :

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team to complete repairs and projects on time.
• Repair and maintain event rental equipment so it is safe, clean, and ready for use.
• Complete building upkeep tasks such as painting, basic carpentry, or minor repairs.
• Organize and prioritize work based on event deadlines and urgent needs.
• Inspect and test equipment to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Safely use hand and power tools while keeping work areas clean and organized.
• Train and support maintenance associates, helping them build skills and stay on task.
• Enforce safety rules and make sure PPE is used correctly.

Qualifications for Seasonal Maintenance Lead :

Previous maintenance experience with leadership or mentoring responsibilities.

Comfortable working in a busy environment with urgent timelines.

Strong repair and troubleshooting skills; comfortable with hand and power tools.

Knowledge of equipment repair, building maintenance, and safety standards.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage changing priorities.

Able to lift and move 50–100 lbs. regularly and stand / walk for 8–10 hours.

Flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Electrician certification is a plus.

Carpentry or welding experience is a plus.
