Responsibilities

Own end-to-end planning, execution, analysis and reporting of research projects; deliver outputs that inform product decisions, design direction, and strategy.

Lead core end-to-end research activities, including defining objectives, hypotheses, methodologies, execution, analysis, and communication of findings.

Collaborate with product teams to translate research insights into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

Master Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, Social Science, or related field

7+ years of relevant experience in consumer-facing business domains

Strong planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing and communicating research

Experience with qualitative methods (interviews, diary studies, direct observation, usability testing, etc.)

Experience with quantitative research (surveys, metrics, sampling, analysis, etc.)

Experience evaluating and working with external research vendors

Ability to describe user problems and business opportunities using quantitative and qualitative data

Strong critical thinking and storytelling skills; able to communicate with business, design, and engineering stakeholders in English

Collaborative, data-driven, and adaptable in a dynamic environment

Knowledge of data compliance and ethics in research activities

Team & Collaboration

Drive cross-discipline collaboration with research insights

Collaborate with researchers and other disciplines with clear ownership and effective communication

Excellent communication skills; tailor messaging to different audiences
