Controller Position

We are looking for a skilled Controller to support a confidential due diligence project for a company acquisition in Hickory, North Carolina. This contract position requires expertise in financial analysis, auditing, and reporting to ensure the quality and accuracy of financial data during the acquisition process. The role offers a blend of remote work and on-site collaboration during the initial stages. Responsibilities include :

• Develop detailed financial models to support the acquisition process and evaluate deal outcomes.
• Prepare and present pitch decks and financial reports to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Conduct comprehensive audits to assess financial risks and identify potential deal breakers.
• Analyze intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Review and manage month-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Coordinate document control processes, including scanning and organizing files related to the acquisition.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address due diligence requirements and resolve any financial discrepancies.
• Examine the quality of financial information to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
• Utilize Excel and QuickBooks effectively, while working with NetSuite systems used by the acquired company.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and reporting structures.
