FMLA 6th-8th Grade Speech-Language Pathologist

Location : Hampstead, MD 21074

Schedule : FMLA coverage | On-Site | Full-Time 35 hours / week

Dates : January 5th - March 20th

Salary Range : $46.27 - 64.94 hourly

About the Role :

AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve middle school aged students through a school placement in the Hampstead area. This district is known for its supportive and collaborative environment including Special Education Consultants who are available to coach and support all staff.

This is a great fit for an adaptable SLP who enjoys working in collaborative environments and is comfortable providing services in both traditional caseloads and specialized programs.

Responsibilities :

Provide speech-language services to students with a variety of communication needs

Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams

Address speech / language delays, articulation and fluency disorders, cognitive delays, and Autism

Complete required documentation, progress monitoring, and data collection

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences

Caseload Details :

Full-time SLP FMLA role at a middle school in Hampstead, Maryland

Anticipated caseload of 45 students

The selected SLP will have a schedule already created that they can follow from day one

Services in the school are split with another in-person SLP

The other SLP services the Autism Program, while this vacancy is for more comprehensive support and service

There is a chance to overlap with the SLP before they go on leave

Shared office space

Qualifications : MD DOH SLP License

School-based experience preferred, but not required

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Masters in Speech Language Pathology
