The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the accuracy and flow of inventory, as well as the receiving, inspection, and fulfillment of both standard and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) materials. This position plays a critical role in meeting Langham’s goals for quality, compliance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
This supervisor will manage daily warehouse operations including inventory control using Langham WMS , ensure proper inspection and storage of inbound raw materials, lead cycle counting initiatives, and coordinate the movement of goods. Additionally, they will oversee GMP compliance, ensure safe handling of temperature-sensitive and hazardous materials, and support the Life Science Services team by managing productivity, training, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Inventory Control & Receiving
Ensure accurate inventory counts using Langham WMS.Conduct regular physical cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.Receive and inspect inbound raw materials to ensure compliance with quality and engineering specifications.Place materials in correct rack locations and ensure traceability for future retrieval.Coordinate inventory movements between production and Distribution Center as required.GMP Fulfillment & Supervision
Oversee GMP warehouse operations, ensuring all receiving, inspection, storage, and shipment processes follow SOPs and regulatory guidelines (FDA, DHS, DOT).Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in the GMP warehouse.Supervise team of warehouse associates, planning daily workloads and ensuring adherence to KPIs.Respond to customer complaints and quality issues promptly, engaging appropriate teams for investigation.Leadership & Team Development
Lead and develop team members through training, coaching, and performance feedback.Cross-train employees to ensure business continuity.Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment and promote open communication across departments.Attend and contribute to daily / weekly team and performance review meetings.Process Improvement & Compliance
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and proposing solutions.Ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards; maintain required safety certifications.Perform equipment maintenance checks as needed and ensure operational readiness.Provide reporting and updates to the General Manager and collaborate with other departments to drive performance.Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required; additional education or certifications in logistics, warehouse management, or related fields preferredMinimum 3 years of experience in inventory control and / or warehouse supervisionProficiency in SAP and WMS systemsStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office); ability to learn new systemsForklift certification and ability to operate stand-up / sit-down forklifts and order pickersAbility to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical duties on a concrete warehouse floor in varying temperaturesWork Environment :
Fast-paced warehouse environment, including GMP-regulated areasOccasional work on weekends based on operational demandsRegular interaction with warehouse staff, engineers, and customers
