Job description
A company is looking for a Senior Brazilian Portuguese Language Specialist to support video game localization.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee translation, editing, and proofreading of video game content from English to Brazilian Portuguese
Collaborate with client-side stakeholders to align tone, style, and terminology
Develop and maintain style guides and linguistic resources while training and mentoring translators
Required Qualifications
Native-level Brazilian Portuguese and fluency in English
Minimum 4 years of experience in editing video game content, particularly MMORPGs
Solid experience with CAT tools and project management platforms
Background in linguistics, translation, or language studies
Ability to work in Central European Time (CET)
