Role Overview
This position supports the coordination and oversight of various phases in large-scale building initiatives, including design, procurement, construction, and operational planning.
Core Duties
Help establish and follow protocols for managing project-related documentation.
Assist with onboarding new assignments into internal tracking systems.
Aid in securing necessary permissions and approvals.
Work with site leadership to plan and update spatial logistics.
Contribute to safety, environmental, and quality assurance efforts.
Manage incoming technical documents and ensure they align with timelines.
Keep detailed records of project communications and documentation.
Oversee quality checks for specific trades and verify material compliance.
Join team discussions and help compile meeting summaries.
Share updates and pricing requests with vendors and assist in internal reviews.
Ensure all project changes are reflected in working plans and communicated across teams.
Support cost estimation efforts and participate in design reviews.
Background & Experience
At least three years in a similar role within commercial building environments.
Associate degree required; a four-year degree in a related field is preferred.
Skills & Attributes
Comfortable using project management platforms, digital markup tools, and office software; familiarity with design and scheduling tools is a plus.
Strong understanding of construction workflows and documentation.
Clear communicator with a proactive mindset.
Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive matters discreetly.
Organized, analytical, and capable of juggling multiple priorities.
Leadership potential and ability to manage concurrent efforts.
Must hold a valid driver’s license.
