About the Role Primary Purpose Lead all buying, product assortment and vendor strategy for Fanatics Canada. Buy plans across leagues, channels, department and class level to help maximize Fanatics Canada financial results. Sr Buyer Canada will develop sales and inventory plans by developing strong vendor relationships, traffic generation and merchandise programs that enhance the consumer experience across eCommerce and In-venue channels. Key Responsibilities Lead a talented team through all facets of product assortment, financial planning, and vendor partnerships to support the goals of your division Partner closer with the Planner to determine financial plans, projections, and maintain open-to-buy Develop merchandise strategies based on current data, trends and forecasts relating to margin opportunities Identify maintenance and trend categories, ensure adequate transitional quantities and timing of flow, and monitor sales and inventory Partner and negotiate with vendors related to product cost and deal terms Review inventory, maintaining current data on sales and fashion trend Oversee advertising and promotional programs so that the right products are in front of the right customers Position Requirements Passion for sports and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written, verbal and listening communication abilities Ability to successfully collaborate with internal and external partners Seeks to be the leader, wants to be in a position of influence Result-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency Demonstrated ability to consistently drive and deliver financial results and goals Able to independently organize and prioritize broad workload to meet deadlines Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required 4+ years of experience as a Buyer with a major retailer Strong computer skills (above intermediate Excel skills necessary) About UsFanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform.
