Head of Data Engineering

A company is looking for a Head of Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Build and scale the data engineering organization and define the data strategy

Design and implement scalable data lake architecture and robust ETL / ELT pipelines

Implement data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles

Proven track record of building data organizations from inception to production scale

Expert-level experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Google BigQuery

Strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in modern programming languages

Hands-on experience with data governance frameworks and understanding of data privacy regulations
