Job descriptionHigh School Diploma or GED Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Patient Access or Patient Registration roles Strong understanding of insurance verification and eligibility, including Medicare, Medi-Cal, Workers’ Compensation, HMO, PPO, and POS plans Excellent customer service skills Effective communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy setting Greet patients and assist with registration process Verify insurance coverage and eligibility promptly Collect co-pays and deductibles securely Answer patient questions and resolve concerns professionally Document patient information accurately in the EPIC system Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth patient flow and registration accuracy Meet departmental productivity and accuracy goals Stay updated on health insurance programs and procedures

About the Job
Competitive Pay : $35.00-$45.00 per hour (DOE)
Shift Days : Monday-Sunday (Rotating schedule including weekends)
Shift Time : Rotating start times between 6 : 45am-9 : 00am
Start Date : ASAP
Department : Patient Access Services
Location : Pleasanton, CA
Duration : 26 weeks initially
