Job Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• The primary focus will be to make protective enclosures and / or boxes for storing fragile or damaged books by carefully measuring each item, choosing the correct archival board depending on size, thickness and weight of each specific item.
• The tasks will encompass books from the general collection as well as those from the Rare Books Department.
• The student will do some cataloging tasks that include changing status on books; will keep accurate statistics on all work completed.
• Will also be responsible for keeping track of supplies and to report in a timely fashion when supplies are needed.
