Role Summary : The Director of AI Process Development Science & Technology (PDS&T) leads AbbVie's strategic direction for artificial intelligence initiatives across process development, scientific research, and technology functions. This role is responsible for defining and executing an integrated AI vision and strategy to drive innovation, operational excellence, and technology transformation within AbbVie's Operations Transformation Organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement an AI strategy aligning with PDS&T's priorities and AbbVie's business objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and collaborate with external partners, technology vendors, and research institutions to strengthen PDS&T's AI capabilities.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver and scale AI solutions for process development, scientific analysis, manufacturing optimization, and technology innovation.
• Oversee governance, compliance, and ethical frameworks for AI initiatives, ensuring regulatory standards are met.
• Monitor emerging AI technologies, methodologies, and best practices relevant to process development, science, and technology management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for AI-related projects and external collaborations within PDS&T, ensuring alignment and achievement of shared goals.
• Communicate outcomes, impact, and value of AI-driven initiatives to PDS&T and AbbVie executive leadership.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making across PDS&T.
