Packaging Laborer

Humboldt Sawmill Company (HSC) is looking for Packaging Laborers to join our Planer team in Scotia, CA. This position is Swing Shift (Mon-Fri, 3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm).

This is a non-exempt position at an hourly rate of $23.87 and offers full benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K match, and company paid Life Insurance.

Responsibilities

The Packaging Laborer will assist in various duties throughout the warehouse.

• Lumber piece pulls
• Banding
• Lumber track use
• Forklift
• Cleanup
• Barcoding
• Relief machine operator
• Lumber Wrapline
• Lumber treater helper
• Inventory / cycle counts
• Work in various departments as needed.
• Keeps equipment and work area clean
• Provides assistance where needed and performs a wide variety of jobs and duties as assigned, with a high level of proficiency and accuracy
