Additional requirements include : \n
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.\n
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.\n
• Requires one at least one year of work experience. Greater than 2 years preferred.\n\nWhat you will do\n
• Will be responsible and accountable for providing and coordinating patient care.\n
• Identifies and addresses patient's needs and priorities through assessment, planning and collaboration with other health care providers.\n
• Will execute physician orders and supervise the implementation of nursing interventions.\n
• Will advocate for the patient representing the patient's interests when illness prevents an individual from being physically or emotionally able to express their own feelings or thoughts.\n
• Will be responsible to care through the outcomes of clinical results, patient satisfaction and acceptable cost.\n\nAbout our Health System\n\nNorth Alabama Shoals Hospital is a 178-bed general acute care facility boasting spacious, private rooms for all patients, a 24-hour emergency department, medical and oncology services; medical / surgical inpatient units; and intensive care and short-stay surgery units.
