Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk due to an upcoming retirement.

This person will be responsible for mainly accounts payable functions which will include financial, administrative, and clerical support for our client's Accountant. The duties for the Accounts Payable Clerk include processing purchase orders, invoices, and vendor documents. This includes assigning proper coding and entering into their database. Maintaining vendor information and credit card reconciliation will also be part of this role.

The schedule for the Accounts Payable Clerk is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30pm. Wages are $22-$25 / hour based on experience. This is a permanent contract to hire position.

• Associate's degree in accounting is strongly preferred but will consider adequate experience. -At least two years of A / P experience. -Must be able to work with minimal supervision. -MS Office proficiency a must.
